Lockdown Days

Many of us want some magic wand to play some role and get back our life to the track we hated once, the monotonous kind of routine about which we used to crib about every other day. Locking ourselves inside our homes have let us explore some fun facts about ourselves, has let us try some new things, learn to spend some quality time with family or who are away from them ended on knowing their values even more. But yeah, there are some who would rant about how much bored they are feeling but won’t even try to get out of the bed.

And ofcourse, in all this social media has played such a vital role in bringing out smiles and good timepass but meanwhile it has confronted us with the world full of riddles drowning in thoughts of buts and ifs. Might be that is just by watching some videos and stories of influencers and bloggers or by seeing some happy tinted photos with filters. All in that glassy world where the truth remains far fledged, the tears are whipped up with some filters, the thoughts are poured into some posts and all that social pressure trap us in some never ending rat race of posting the idea of perfect happy life, displaying the auspicious moments which needed to cherished and adored by us first than to be displayed on feed. Ditching the reality doesn’t make it less real because escapism is never the way. We need to learn to confront and mend our ways and should remain intact with solidity around.

Though everyone has his or her own way of dealing but how sarcastic is it that human race needed a pandemic like this to explore some new in them, to ponder how far they have come, how a pandemic can let the mother earth heal like never before. It’s well said everything has its own cost to pay. And in this we paid huge, this cost paid lives of so many humans, economy to stagger globally, many jobs were lost or on verge of. Still despite of all these consequences we are trying digging out positivity and hopes that soon this will go away but no doubt leaving behind some irreversible changes to many.
